My name is Amar Sharif. I am a woman with a physical disability called Spina Bifida. I built this website in early 2022 to create an outlet for disabled folks to learn about sexual health inequalities within the community around the world, so that we can close the gaps. In my research, I have discovered that sexual health and well-being for disabled folks is often not addressed. My hope is that this website will shed some light on the importance of understanding that disabled folks can be sexual beings, just like non-disabled folks.
